The Eastern Sierra Transit Authority is the major provider of public bus services throughout Inyo and Mono Counties, and the sole provider of interregional public transportation for the entire Eastern Sierra Region.
ESTA offers a variety of bus services:
Dial-a-Ride
Door-to-door bus service available to special needs users as well as to the general
public in areas where other bus service is not offered. Handicapped accessible
vehicles are used. Advance appointments are encouraged, but same day requests
are accommodated subject to availability. Service times vary by community.
Town-to-Town Services
Providing vital connections between communities within Inyo and Mono Counties
and beyond. With scheduled arrival and departure times in established locations
in each community, deviations can be scheduled along the route to accommodate
riders with special needs.
Local Area Fixed Routes
Local bus routes are available in Mammoth Lakes, providing
inter-community scheduled services with specific busstop locations and times.
Inter-Regional Service
The CREST route connects the Eastern Sierra corridor along Hwy 395 and travels
North to Reno, Nevada and South to Lancaster, CA with connections to Los Angeles
and Kern Counties. North | South
